Adrian Boulding MA, FIA, FRSA - Management Board Member

Adrian Boulding is employed by Legal & General as Pensions Strategy Director. In this role he is the company’s lead media spokesman on pensions issues and heads the interaction with Government Departments on Pensions Reform issues.
Adrian presents a regular webcast “Driven to Retirement by Adrian Boulding” which features topical pensions news and analysis for the IFA community. It is named after his 1966 Daimler Majestic Major which also features in the filming.
Drawing on Legal & General’s extensive market experience and his own font of ideas, Adrian has engaged in Pensions Reform projects with many organisations including Adam Smith Institute, Institute for Public Policy Research, Millennium Debate of the Age, National Association of Pension Funds and Pensions Policy Institute.
He appears regularly on television, radio and in the press. Publications include the paper “Benjamin Franklin and the Stakeholder Pension” which was presented at the Royal Society of Arts.
In the run up to the launch of Stakeholder Pensions in 2001, Adrian was a member of the Secretary of State’s Stakeholder Pensions Advisory Group. More recently, he was the lead author of the Actuarial Profession’s response to the Pensions Commission on Decumlation Issues, and captained the winning team at the Actuarial Profession’s competition for innovation “Taking Control of Flexible Retirement”. |
